Sogang University is a private university in the heart of Seoul with modern classroom facilities and a beautiful campus within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants.

Students will join an international group of students from around the world to live and study at Sogang University for four weeks. You may take 1-2 classes, including Korean Language and/or one of the courses on the approved class list below.

*Note: We are partnering with Pierce College to provide Korean Language credits, so students who choose to take Korean will pay tuition for this course to Pierce College.

Housing

Campus Dormitory: Live with a roommate in an international on-campus dormitory. The dormitory has its own fitness center, laundry, chapel, and lounge for public use. Each room has beds, desks, chairs, wardrobes, shoes cabinets, internet cables, a private toilet and sink in each room and common shower rooms. There are 12 floors with an elevator. (The first 20 students who enroll from WCCCSA for Study Abroad will have priority for on campus housing, so apply early if you want to live in the dorms!)

Off Campus Apartments: A brand-new facility that is about a 25-minute walk from campus. Shared rooms for 3-5 students. Rooms include a wardrobe, bathrooms and min fridges. Apartments require an additional fee of about $100.

Activities

You will have many opportunities to visit local cultural and historical sits of significance in Seoul, including weekly Friday field trips, bi-weekly "Buddy Activities" with local Korean students, and the option to participate in bi-weekly start-up club and E-Sports club activities. Special excursions include the Demilitarized Zone and K-Pop events. You will have free time in the evenings and weekends to explore the city and region independently.
