Health Insurance Details
International students are required to have health insurance through Community Colleges of Spokane during their time of study in the United States. Community Colleges of Spokane has a partnership with LewerMark Insurance to provide health insurance for all of our international students.
After you arrive in Spokane, you will attend an orientation on campus where you will learn more about getting your health insurance. We will work with you as you fill out your form and make payment at our cashiers’ office. We will submit your payment to the insurance company.
LewerMark health insurance is required for all SFCC and SCC F-1 international students. You will be charged a fee every quarter. Please ask our staff about the current cost as it may change over time. Please also reach out to our office if you believe you qualify for an exception.
Our F-1 and J-1 students must also purchase insurance for any dependents who are accompanying them during their study at Community Colleges of Spokane People on a F-2 or J-2 visa can find information on obtaining insurance here.
