Spokane Colleges has announced a new Manufacturing Series designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the region’s manufacturing sector. The series offers hands-on, industry-aligned training in quality systems, food safety, welding, and Lean manufacturing.
Courses include certifications in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), AS9100 and ISO 13485 auditing for aerospace and medical device quality systems, and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) food safety training recognized by the FDA. Welding fundamentals in MIG and TIG, as well as Lean leadership and problem-solving, round out the offerings.
Courses run through March 2026, with flexible enrollment options and certificates available upon completion.
