Spokane Colleges is honored to announce that Foundation Executive Director, Heather Beebe-Stevens has been selected to serve on two advisory groups for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). CASE is a global nonprofit association dedicated to educational advancement, including alumni relations, communications, development, and advancement services. Heather will serve on the U.S./Canada Regional Council and the CASE Commission on Philanthropy.
As one of the four regional councils developed by CASE, the U.S./Canada Regional Council helps set strategic direction, advises the CASE Board of Trustees on member growth and retention opportunities, and ensures that CASE programs, products, and services continue to meet the needs of members within the region. Heather was elected by CASE membership to a three-year term and is the only community college representative on the council.
The CASE Commission on Philanthropy has been an important part of the organization’s advisory community for over 30 years. The commission serves as an innovation hub for the profession, identifying emerging trends and challenges while providing guidance on how institutions can prepare for the future. It also helps ensure member resources remain relevant and reflective of leading practices in the field. Heather was appointed to the commission by CASE’s CEO for a three-year term.

Now it’s time for colleagues beyond that region — and beyond community college Advancement — to benefit from her experience as well.”
