One quarter, 11 hour per week hands on adult education pathway to natural resources careers and college programs.
Online (6 hours) and in-person (5 hours) instruction in basic natural resources topics, as well as hands on skill building. Students will complete online assignments and attend twice a week in-person* hands-on demonstrations, including guest presenters from local businesses and agencies. The goal of this program is to provide various experiences and basic knowledge of natural resources while further developing students reading, writing and math skills.
Students will also complete a project to apply their skills learned throughout the program in a locally relevant situation.
